Trip To York /Imogen

Hello,

 I apologize for not posting in a while. But it is finally the Easter Half Term (Well were half way through it already) On Thursday me and my family went to York only until Friday however that's enough time to walk around all the allies and admire all the cute shops. On Thursday the weather was fantastic which was a real good bonus. However I decided to wear my big winter coat which is no the best combination with red hot weather. When we arrived at York on Thursday we decided to have our lunch straight away. We ate at Slug And Lettuce(weird name for a pub/restaurant) I opted for the Open Chicken Pie which I thoroughly enjoyed.My mum ordered a Lebanese Style Chicken which was supposed to come on a flat-bread however Slug And Lettuce have two dishes called the same thing...which we didn't realize. And when we ordered  the lady at the counter never asked my dad which Lebanese Style Chicken dish he wanted. So when my mum's food came she was not that happy because she got a salad not what she thought she ordered. My dad ordered the Smothered Chicken but I never got a photo of his food because he thinks I'm a little bit silly for taking photos of every meal I have out.

After we had finished our lunch we walked around the streets of York. Looking at all the picturesque shops. 

 Whilst we were walking around I saw this man drawing people cartoon like and I really wanted one doing so me and my dad got a double one done and it's so funny.

We also went to the York Dungeons, me and my mum had already been before but it was the first time for my dad. Which was amusing because me and my mum knew what was about to happen and my dad didn't so it was funny to watch his reaction. I was chose to get up in a court and I was accused with being a which and caught chanting. The judge gave me 3 ways I could pleed and I pled for Insanity but then he made me demonstrate my dancing which was very awkward in front of everybody.  :/

 We walked around most of the York Wall and my feet was killing because we had already walked 1 1/2 mile into York from our hotel. Later that night, for tea we went over the road to this super cute pub.However nothing on the menu took my fancy so my mum asked for a children's menu instead. There was a deal on  for the children's meal for a drink,main course and a desert for £6.95. So I ordered a glass of milk on top of the drink I ordered previously,a glass of coke, for my main I ordered Pasta and Churros for the desert.I didn't really like the Churros so my mum swapped deserts with me because she had ordered a chocolate brownie which was too sickly for her. My dad ordered a fruit crumble and my mum actually got a photo of it; whilst I was at the toilet (TMI).

The lighting in the pub wasn't great because we chose to sit in the pub area rather than the actual restaurant side. 

On Friday, At the hotel we stayed in had a huge range of food to choose from. From Cereal to Pancakes to a Full Cooked Breakfast. As pancakes are one of my favourite things, I opted to have them first. I didn't know how to work the machine and ended up with 4 pancakes as when you click the only button "OK" it cooked 2 pancakes. But I didn't think the machine was working and clicked it again. After I ate most of my pancakes I got a small chocolate chip quason. And then a full cooked breakfast as it was a buffet. 

Friday, it unfortunately rained nearly all day. However the good thing was I had my big winter coat and we was inside for most of the day. As we went to the Railway Station Museum.

After this we went shopping again then travelled home. I hope you liked this post. I love doing these kinds of posts because I get to upload loads of photos. And photography is one of my favourite things to do.
