Revolution Makeup Revolution London Iconic 3 Palette Review | Imogen

Hello, over the past couple of months I have heard so many great reviews about the Revolution Makeup Revolution London Iconic 3 Palette and because it only retails at £4 I thought I would invest in it, and I am so glad I did.

This palette contains12 beautiful shades;which range from creams, pinks, golds and dark browns-purples. The formula of the eye shadows differ from cream based eye shadows, glitters and mattes. Due to this palette offering so many shades you can create a different look for every occasion. You could go very natural and use the creams and pinks or you could go quite smokey with the browns and purples and create a dramatic look. Also because the browns are matte, they would be perfect to use on the brows as they don't have  any excess shimmer or glitter. The shades are very highly pigmented and great quality for the price of this product.

This palette comes with a double ended applicator which is great if you are just starting out with makeup and don't own any brushes yet. Although, quite a lot of people think this palette is the perfect size, I slightly disagree, I think this palette could be a little bit smaller, maybe the same size as the MUA eye shadow palettes. Because it seems quite big to fit in a makeup bag. However, I I have heard this palette is a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette which  is massive and definitely wouldn't fit in an averagely sized makeup bag. The Naked 3 palette retails at £38.00 and you get 12 shades in which look exactly the same, obviously they must be better pigmented or have a longer lasting power because why else would it be priced so high, for an eye shadow palette. So if you are planning on buying the Urban Decay Naked 3, then I would try out this product first and you might just save your self £38.00.

Love,
